Hi, I'm Erik.
I'm currently Design and Product Leader at Quiddly, a fintech company with big ambitions to disrupt the finance industry. My role is to drive industry change through exceptional and enjoyable product design.
As a designer, I get great satisfaction from working in every step of the design process, from user research to crafting pixel-perfect user experiences.
As a design leader, I deeply enjoy helping designers and other colleagues grow as individuals. I have led both cross-functional design teams and dedicated user research teams.
As a business innovator, I help organisations get the most out of their business opportunities. I have been part of many initiatives that brought design thinking into existing business processes.
As a human being, I spend a lot of time with my family and friends. I play music, skate and surf, and I'm fascinated by cognitive psychology, mindfulness and flow.
I hold a PhD in Applied User Research (2010), and my career spans user research, design strategy, pixel-perfect design and product management.
